Christiane Michaelis
Christiane has completed her debut novel, The Fivers. It’s a young adult story about a teenage girl who believes that life on a climate-ravaged Earth is doomed – until she finds a community of teenagers willing to take up the fight against exploitative plutocrats and for a future worth living.
Before writing, Christiane had careers as a director of operas and plays; a teacher of Language Arts, music, and drama; and as a public and TedX speaker and facilitator in the field of creativity. She has studied climate change and its effects for many years.
Christiane has four children and currently lives with her family just outside of Berlin, Germany.
